Ryne wanted me to write a little something about our sweet little dog Hershey. Hershey was a dachshund, we got her from a dachshund rescue shelter we have had her just over 3 yrs she was, it wasn't that long of a time but we loved her so much, she was part of our family. She was raised in a home day care center, so she was perfect for our family she was so good with the kids, she was always very calm she liked to sleep most the time, but she loved to play ball with the kids, she also liked when the kids would run around and wrestle she would be right behind them running and barking. This last year Hershey really slowed down, she had some cysts growing on her stomach, she had lost most of her teeth making it harder for her to eat, and she had cataracts that made it hard for her to see so she was starting to bump into walls, you could tell the way she walked she was in pain, most of the time she just whined in pain. She passed on July 31st, we will miss you greatly Hershey, but we know you aren't in any more pain.
