Spooky ghosts

Todays little craft were these cute little ghosts made from fake fall leaves. We painted them white, drew faces with a black sharpie, attached some fishing string and hung them on a little tree we made

The best part of today was no one painted on the furniture!

Fall Break

My kids have Fall break this week, and me being the crazy awesome mom that I am I promised them we would do a Halloween craft everyday!  Thanks to pinterest I have some easy crafts lined up.

The first craft of the week are these cute toilet paper roll bats. The kids had a blast making them (Ellie had a blast painting the couch), they turned out cute and look awesome hanging in the kitchen entry way!

2 months old!

This sweet girl turned 2 months on.  Monday.Time has gone by fast but at the same time seems to stand still when I watch this sweet sleeping baby.

Maeley is such a sweet little girl, she is very calm and relaxed. She has the most gorgeous and wise eyes for such a tiny and new person! One look into those " baby blues"and you are drawn in wondering what she knows and what she is thinking.

The kids absolutely love her, someone is always playing with her, holding her or just talking to her, they all love getting to know her.

Maeley seems to finally be in a good night time routine, she eats st 8:30 p.m. sleeps till about 1 a.m. goes back to sleep around 1:30 and sleeps til 5 or 6, its been great! Now with all the good stuff there is some not so good stuff like when her tummy hurts cause mommy ate garlic or something else that gives her gas and all she can do is cry out in pain, or the times she is sound asleep and is rudely awakened by one of the older kids ( Ellie) who thinks it's a good idea to get chop sticks and drum right next to her head! There's also those times when the baby wants nothing to do with anything but eating, and no house work gets done! But I wouldn't change it for the world I love her crankyness, sweet smiles, sometimes sleepless nights & everything in between!

Ok enough chit chat here are her stats:

She is a whopping 7lbs 12oz & 22 inches long. She is a tiny thing for sure, the Dr. isn't too concerned about her weight shes continuing to gain weight just very very slowly!

Some of her favorite activity's still include sleeping, eating & pooping she has added spitting up, smiling and cooing to the list!

I finished Maeley's Halloween costume, pictures to come soon it's cute!

First Day of School

I'm so glad I got my wish and had Maeley before the 7th it made meet the teacher, the first day of school and pre-school meetings so much easier.

The kids were up at the crack of dawn all dressed and ready for school, which made things go a lot smoother, which was nice cause we were running a little late, who new having a new born would throw our morning routine out of wack!

Anyway we made it to school on time just not early enough to play on the playground for more than a minute, which devestated Kaleb. Ryne panicked a little when the bell rang and she realized she didnt know were her class was suppose to line up, I came to the rescue and together we found were she needed to be.

The kids were happy that Dana was able to be there for their first day.

I had my 37 week appointment yesterday, I've progressed more, not as much as I hoped for but progress is progress! My Dr. is confident I'll have her before 39 weeks, if not he scheduled an induction for the 7th of August, since I have my babies fast and I tested positive for strep B and he wants to make sure I get the antibiotic. I am hoping she comes before that since the kids start school on the 8th!! I've been contracting quite a bit since Friday so I'll start walking, swimming, cleaning ect.. more to help things along!

My parents will be here today HOORAY!! The kids helped me get their room ready and they are beyond excited!

We had a great maternity shoot on Saturday, I can't wait to see them!

36 weeks

I was 36 weeks on Saturday, I'm so excited the end is near! We can't wait to meet this little girl!!

I had an appointment today and we are making progress, my Dr. said we should be prepared to have her by 37 weeks at the rate I'm going YEAH so exciting!!! A friend of ours is going to do some maternity pics this weekend lets hope I make it!

The kids are so anxious, they want this baby here NOW! I've been crocheting her some things, like some cute little footless sandals that match her going home outfit, I crocheted around a blanket for her to, Ryne wants me to make the baby a headband and bow to go with her coming home outfit, so thats on the list of things to do.

Dana and I are going to take the tour of the hospital Labor and Delivery floor tonight since I'm delivering at a different hospital this time, it will be nice to know were to go!

My parents are planning on being here but they can't make it till the 25th
due to doctors appointments, so we figure we should have a back up plan for the other kids in case this girl decides to come before they get here!

All right thats the exciting update for this week, I'll keep ya posted if anything happens this week!!

Update

32 weeks (green shirt), 34 weeks (yellow shirt).
Sorry I haven't posted updates our computer has been down and I can post from my phone I just haven't!
Anyway quick update, my Doc took me off full bedrest at 30 weeks and put me on partial he wants me to be down for a minimum of 5 hrs a day, all I can say is I'm doing my best! I went 4 weeks without any contractions but they have started up again, but they are few abd far between.
I had an appointment today and everything looks great, shes head down already, I'm hoping she stays that way!
He said since I have my babies fast he will schedule a tentative induction for 39 weeks at my 37 week appointment, but I really dont think I will make it that far!
A lot had been happening I will post about all that later, cause my phone is about to die!

Close Call and Down for the Count

On Friday after I dropped the kids off at school I was in a near car accident. A man going the opposite direction from me decided he was going the wrong way and figured he needed to turn around, either he didn't see me or he thought he had plenty of room to make the turn, turns out he didn't, he got halfway into my lane and stopped realizing he made a mistake! All I could do (besides jerk the wheel and wreck my car) was to slam really hard on my brakes, hard enough that Ellie and I were both pitched forward HARD, I have to say I am very thankful for seat belts and car seats and the fact that we were both buckled correctly! I was able to stop inches away from his car, I have to admit it was scary I think you could see my heart thumping out of my chest. Poor Ellie was trying to breathe she kept saying " I okay, I okay, momma you okay?". Needless to say the guy just shrugged his shoulders and finished his turn and kept going, frustrating to say the least! Ellie and I got home safely thank goodness, I had a lot of errands to run that day so I started getting ready for the day and that's when the contractions started, I laid down for as long as I could (which made the contractions stop) till I had to get Kaleb from school and to a Dr.'s appointment, I was able to get him there and back to school without incident so I finished up my other errands. By the time I got home the contractions had started again. I didn't want to ruin the guys camp out so I told them to go if anything happened I would call Dana but at that point I felt if I stayed down I would be fine. The girls and I had lot's of plans but just ended up ordering pizza and staying in. I called the nurse and told her what happened, since I had an appointment scheduled for Monday she told me to stay down and drink lots of water till I came in, unless anything major happened then I needed to go straight to the hospital.

I had my appointment yesterday, they were able to do an ultrasound in the office the baby kept moving and kicking the little stick thing they use on my belly so that was definitely a good sign! They were looking to see if there was any tearing, especially the placenta, aside from some bruising on my abdomen wall everything looked great! I think I audibly sighed with relief when he told me that! Even though everything looks good the bruising from the seat belt is pretty bad and will take longer than usual (since this girl thinks it's ok to kick me there)to heal so until it does I am down for the count and least for the next 2 weeks, I'm not to do ANYTHING. Perfect timing considering it's the last week of school and we have something going on everyday, but we will do what's best for me and baby and make it work! Dana and the kids have been a bug help so I think we will manage just fine.

I am officially 7 months (as of Saturday), here's a pic 28 weeks.

The kids are really excited, they can now see and feel her move and they love it.

The other day when I had both my arms full of grocery bags Ellie who was walking behind me asked " Why you waddle momma?" I laughed and asked "I waddle?" she responded with " Yup like a ducky, QUACK QUACK!!" awe nothin like the innocence of a child to make you feel 100% awesome (i hope you noted the sarcasm).

On top of the new bruising the morning/all day sickness has kicked back in again (since about 26 weeks) so I have been back to barely functioning during the day, but it's all for a good cause right!? Honestly I would go through anything to make sure this little girl arrives safely.

I am working on Ryne's room right now, well it's gonna have to wait a couple weeks now before I get it all cleared out and ready for paint. Ryne is so excited to be getting her own room! Alright so there's a prego update, I am lot's more things to blog about I just haven't had a chance. But it seems I will get to catch up over the next 2 weeks!

Update

Here's an update on the pregnancy front everything is still going really well baby is moving like crazy, it's fantastic! It's really amazing how much stronger her kicks are from week to week, we are getting to the point were you can actually see and feel some of them, Ellie doesn't like it too much, Ryne and Kaleb are fascinated every chance they get they push on my stomach and wait for her to move. I've been a little sick this week mostly in the mornings but it's not nearly as bad as it was before, I have been taking the zophran to help me through the day. So that's pretty much it next appointment I get to do the glucose test and get the Rhogam shot, yippee for me!

The kids have really been funny with this pregnancy it's nice having them so interested, they have been saying some of the funniest things especially Kaleb here are a few;

Kaleb told me I needed to take another "big belly picture" and measure my belly he wants to see "how many more inches big yours tummy is", last week he followed me around with a tape measure!
(I don't see much of a difference between 24 and 22 weeks, but Kaleb swears there is)

A couple days before we found out we are having another girl Kaleb asked me "how many stamps would it take to send the baby back to Heavenly Father if it's another girl?" I told him I didn't know and that he should ask Heavenly Father, so for the next couple of nights when saying our family prayers Kaleb would chime in " and please tell me how many stamps I need to send the baby back if hers a girl", it was all we could do not to laugh! Finally the day of the ultra sound came and he still hadn't gotten an answer he came to me and said with a sigh "Heavenly Father didn't tell me how many stamps I need so I guess that means we have to keep it *SIGH* even if it is another girl"

One night Ryne and Kaleb were talking about how babies are born Kaleb stated that "the moms poop them out!" Ryne didn't agree "cause I thought that too but mom told me how they are REALLY born", of course she was being a brat and wouldn't tell him what I had told her, so he kept calling her a liar she finally gave in and whispered to Kaleb how babies are born his response "now that's just gross!" we told him that's why we hadn't told him, he agreed that was a good idea and " I'm gonna pretend ya just poop them out!" apparently that thought is much better than the other!

Kaleb asked me if we could "name the baby a boy name, even though she's a girl, that way I can pretend it's a brother"

Ellie loves to lay her head on my growing belly the other day the baby kicked hard enough for Ellie to feel it she sat up looked at my tummy and said "ooohh I don't like that!" then she put her mouth right up to my belly and yelled "STOP IT RIGHT NOW BABY!"

After an episode of morning sickness Ellie asked what was wrong I told her it was because of the baby, she patted my tummy and said softly "baby stop make momma sick that's not nice."

Kaleb tells people "my mom has an alien in her tummy"

Ok so those are just some of the things they have said, at least the ones I can remember, they crack me up they are definitely making things more fun and interesting with this baby.

Well Checks

All 3 kids had their well checks today! Yes I actually scheduled them all at the same time, I prefer it that way verses going in 3 separate times with in a couple of months. Anyway  they all did really well, the Doc used Ryne as an example to the other kids he had them all sitting in a row on the table I just had to snap a pic.

Kaleb was well Kaleb and had a hard time sitting still but his Doc was so good and patient with him. The Doc made the kids feel so relaxed, he had them laughing and giggling before they new it the appointment was over! They all cheered when they heard they didn't have to have shots, Kaleb was actually a little disappointed when I asked him why he told me "I wanted to be brave for my girls" but he got over it when he got a sticker.

Ok so here are their stats

Ryne weighs 48 lbs and is 49 1/4" tall, I think they said she was in like the 35% for her weight and like 90% for her height(no surprise there) I can't remember I was a little distracted with Kaleb when the Doc was tellin me.

Kaleb weighs 43 lbs and is 45 1/2" tall, he was right in the middle across the board percentage wise.

Ellie weighed in at 30 lbs and she is 36 1/2" tall, I have no idea where she is percentage wise, cause by this time I was trying to keep Kaleb out of the drawers!

I talked to the Doc about putting Kaleb on some ADHD medication,Dana and I talked about medication when Kaleb was first diagnosed we really wanted to try and stay away from meds, we started using essential oils which were helping but with the pregnancy the smells make me sick so we stopped using them, lately Kaleb has been coming home crying and upset when you talk to him this is what he would say " I'm just a stupid, idiot", "I'm just a dummy dummy head", "I'm a stupid dumb boy cause every noise bothers me" I tell it's heart wrenching to hear your child say such things about himself, the really sad part is he has himself convinced that he "just isn't smart" when the fact is he's brilliant! So we re-visited the idea of meds and looked into it a little more and decided we needed to do what's best for Kaleb and got a prescription today. We shall see how he does with it, I'm hoping we see good result and hopefully after the baby comes we will be able to go back to the oils. We've talked to him about it and he likes the idea of being able to "focus and not have everything bother me", but we have also made sure to talk to him about the side effects like mood swings etc.. that he may have so that we can all be prepared. I really hope things go well and that we are all able to handle the coming changes!

Small wonders

I've been meaning to post a little update about my pregnancy, I just kept forgetting! Things are going very well, she moves a lot during the day, and I am thankful for every little movement. I seem to finally be over the morning, noon and night sickness. At my last appointment my Dr. was a little concerned about some weight loss, some dizzy spells I had been having and I was also dehydrated, I just couldn't keep anything down even water. He had already given me some zophran but it didn't seem to really help so I stopped taking it, and I tried every home remedy out there to stop the sickness nothing helped. My Dr. tested me for anemia, and I figured I would test positive for it cause I have always struggled with it during my pregnancies, sure enough that is one of the problems and it could be a reason for the dizzy spells as well, my iron level was really low. I have never been able to take a prenatal because the iron in them makes me sick, It's kinda a dammed if ya do dammed if ya don't kind of deal. Anyway he did up my dose of zophran, and basically put me on an all greens diet to get the iron levels back up, and told me to drink lot's and lot's of Gatorade or powerade, to help keep me hydrated, I also went out and bought some kids vitamins with extra iron (that's what I did with the other kids I just ran out and never got more and boy did I pay for it!). I am happy to report I haven't had to take the zophran in a week, I am full of energy and the whole "nesting" thing has kicked in, seriously I have been cleaning like a mad woman!

The kids have wanted to be involved with this pregnancy which I think is awesome! We have been taking pictures every couple of weeks of my "tummy" and measuring how big I am. Here I am Easter morning;

We go on line to baby center, (which is one of my favorite pregnancy sites) with each new week and look to see how big the baby is and what she is developing. They compare the size of the baby to fruits and veggies, so we started buying the fruit or veggie for the current week so they could see about how big or long she is, then we would have it for dinner or a snack, the kids have gotten a big kick out of it. This week she's as long as a carrot. Ellie is always talking about "the baby in yours tummy", Kaleb wants to give it a boy name even though it's a girl, and Ryne is exciting cause we have decided to give her her own room and let the little girls share a room (yes that's right I am giving up my sewing room).

I have been comparing this pregnancy with my pregnancy with Marryne as far as the experience of a first time pregnancy. When I found out I was pregnant with Ryne I was so anxious and excited, scared of the unknown but perfectly happy about what was to come. . With Marryne every little movement was so amazing I could hardly believe it, I kept track of her movements and when she was active and not active. We got a stethoscope so we could listen to her heart, we talked to her and put headphones on my stomach and experimented with different kinds of music.  When I saw the first ultra-sound I cried, heck I cried with every ultra-sound. I payed attention to EVERYTHING, it was such a magical experience.Don't get me wrong I was excited about my other kiddos too it's just that I didn't notice every little thing, the experience wasn't new to me. With the first miscarriage I never got to feel movement, with the second one I had just started to experience movement when we lost him. I had yearned to feel a baby moving and thriving inside me it just wasn't happening.

When I discovered I was pregnant again, I'll be honest I was terrified my reaction when I read the results was " you have to be freaking kidding me!", I had wanted the results to be positive many times before this and they weren't so I had finally put it out of my mind, so I wasn't expecting a positive result. Anyway I didn't know exactly what to feel, I was happy and sad and scared all at once, it's all I could think about I was an emotional wreck. When I told Dana my fears subsided a little bit, but I was still worried. I was 14 weeks when I went to my first Dr. appointment and boy was I TERRIFIED. I had been sick the entire time, I still felt pregnant but I wasn't convinced, I needed to hear a heartbeat. I had Dana go with me I was so scared that I wasn't going to hear anything, and with good reason I was 14 weeks when we lost the last baby. I held my breath, and gripped Dana's hand as tight as I could, they found a heartbeat almost immediately, I let out my breath and started crying, the nurse was very sympathetic and understood my emotions. I had been praying since the day I found out that I would know that everything was ok, at that point it had mostly been all day sickness I have never been so thankful to be sick! I started really feeling movements around 18 weeks but they were still hard to discern. Now at 22 weeks I am feeling every little movement, and it's been amazing I am in awe with every little kick. The kids love to sing to her, they love to rub and kiss my belly they can't wait till the movements are strong enough so they can feel it too. I cried at the ultra-sound I was so relieved that she was ok. I have often had the thought that it feels like I am pregnant for the first time again, I have the same feelings and concerns, and I anticipating every little thing. I've realized what a miracle carrying a child really is, I mean I have known this but now I feel it with every fiber of my being. Just to get pregnant is a miracle, everything has to be just right for it to happen, and then to carry full term is an even more amazing miracle, having a baby isn't anything to take lightly. I am so thankful to my Father in Heaven that we are being blessed with this tiny little miracle.

Never thought I'd be so thankful for.......

morning all day sickness, especially the morning dash to the bathroom
multiple bathroom trips (especially at night)
cravings
exhaustion
sensitivity to smells
the emotional roller coaster
Heartburn
sleepless nights
stretching body parts
mood swings

but I am so thankful for all these things cause it means all is well. Yup that's right this is an announcement we are expecting baby #4 in August and we couldn't be happier!

This pregnancy has been hard on me physically and emotionally, it's hard not to think about the miscarriages, but everyday since I found out Heavenly Father has given me little signs (mostly all day sickness) everyday that all is going well we are truly blessed.

The kids are so excited that we are adding a new little one to the family, they have been concerned for me and baby since the day we told them, they have been very helpful and they pray for that all will be ok with their new sibling I am so grateful to them.

Today we had our first ultra sound it was a very emotional time for me, considering I would like to forget the last one we had but it's something I will never forget. Even though I have felt movement I still couldn't wait to see the baby move, that's the proof I needed to be able to relax a little. When I saw the baby on the screen my heart almost stopped when I didn't notice any movement, but then the tech moved down and showed me the baby's heart I cried when I saw it pumping and then the baby was all over the place the tech was having a hard time getting the measurements needed! Dana wasn't with me at first since the room was small and they were looking at everything not just the baby, so once we got down to business looking at the baby Dana and Ellie came in, Ellie was enthralled and a little concerned for mommy!

Everything looked great, baby is happy and kickin! They moved my due date up from August 15th to the 11th. I will be 20 weeks tomorrow.

Since the older kids didn't get to go to the ultra sound and they were DYING to know what we were having, I decided instead of just telling them we would make it fun and keep the guessing a little, so we blew up some yellow balloons and put a pink pom pom in each balloon and they had to pop it to find out.

Here they are with their balloons...
 Dana helped pop them
And it's a.......can ya see it? It's another GIRL!!!!
We thought Kaleb would be upset, he bet chores that it was gonna be a boy, but as you can tell he's all smiles and happy! Ryne was so happy I couldn't get her to stop jumping long enough to take a picture, I don't know what she was more excited about that it's a girl or that she doesn't have to feed the dogs for a week!! Ellie is just as excited she can't wait till baby gets here, she keeps telling me " I want it in my hand!".

Since I have a lot of friends on facebook that have had miscarriages or lost babies all my updates will be posted here on the old blog, out of respect for them and their feelings. I will post links on there but it's up to you if ya want to read it or not. We couldn't be happier to be adding another little girl to the family, we are THRILLED!!!!

Monkey see Monkey do!

I think Ellie is trying a little too hard to be like her brother!

While at Party City Ellie smacked her face on the corner of  a candy bin that was at the end of the isle! One minute she was behind me as happy as a clam and the next she was on her back on the floor, crying so hard she wasn't breathing, I was praying that there wouldn't be blood. Once I picked her up and coaxed her to breathe she let out a shrill, I knew then it had to be bad( she had her face covered so I couldn't see the damage)and sure enough once I pulled her hands away we could see the cut and of course blood going down her face.

The people at party city got us a first aid kit and we went to work, much like we did on Kaleb (read his story here) they didn't have any butterfly bandages so we just put some gauze on to stop the bleeding, once home we gave her a bath cleaned it really well and put a butterfly on it. It wasn't nearly as deep as Kaleb's so that was a relief.

Overall she is doing pretty good with it, her eye is still pretty swollen( she doesn't care to much for the ice or a cold wash cloth)and she's already got some black and purple coloring going on, I figure by morning she will have a full blown back eye! I'm just glad it wasn't worse, and I am sure she is loving all the attention and love she is getting from everyone especially from her big brother!

*SIGH*

Today is one of those days I would like to strangle Murphy and his stupid law!! It all started with Ellie breaking a  glass of soda on the floor (that the older kids got for her after I said no) while I was in the bathroom, obviously it created a big mess by the time I got all the glass off the floor I decided to mop since I hadn't mopped in a week anyway. I proceeded to sweep and mop my kitchen floor, then while it was drying I was moving everything out of my front room so I could sweep and mop that floor, grandma called while I was doing that the kids decided since I was distracted they get themselves some cereal and Ellie decided it would be funny to cover the floor in chocolate frosted flakes, so she dumped a bunch on the floor and stomped them real good all over my newly swept and mopped floor, when I turned around and saw what had been done I was NOT happy. The older kids watched her make the mess and no one said a word to me. So I dismissed everyone and re-swept the floor, and finished the other half of the house, now while I was in the laundry room putting stuff away Ellie snuck out of her room found some cereal ( I have no idea where she got it from) and dumped it on the floor AGAIN, she just smiled that says " you won't be mad I'm too cute", but she was wrong she got a time out, while I cleaned it up.

I finished cleaning the rest of the house took a quick potty break when I came from the bathroom I found Kaleb and Ellie in the middle of the kitchen floor with spoons and the sugar jar and sugar EVERYWHERE *SIGH*, as soon as they saw me they booked it to their rooms I cleaned that mess up while cursing Murphy's Law I would have like my floor to stay clean for at least an hr but apparently that was to much to ask for. Now I'm sure your saying you would have made the kids clean up the messes and normally I would have but I needed the work to relieve my anger, and I thought of some other things they could do that were worse than sweeping up dry cereal and sugar. I had them scrub the toilets by hand, meaning no long handle scrub brush, just a had scrubber and a pair of gloves, I also had them use old tooth brushes to clean around ALL the sinks in the house, I also had them sweep and mop the bathroom floors the old fashioned way no steamer for them, just a bucket of water and a mop!

Once the house was clean and since they didn't complain I thought I would take them to the park and pick a pizza up on the way, all I asked was that while I went to shower and get ready for them not to fight (since Kaleb and Ryne had been at each others throats ALL morning), and to stay out of the kitchen, that lasted literally about a min as soon as I shut the door behind me the shouting began *hangs head down and sighs*, I stuck my head out long enough to tell them they lost the park and pizza privileged, that soothed things over instead of being mad at each other they joined forces so they could be mad at me! I hid in my shower for about an hr, by the time I got out they were back screaming at each other, I sent them to their rooms all except for Ellie she was just sitting on the couch being entertained by all this. They spent most the afternoon in their rooms.

Now they finally decided that it was a small price to pay to be civil to each other, mom was happy and they got to play outside for a bit, it was nice everyone was getting a long and my ears were getting a much needed break from the bickering. We came in so I could make some dinner, while Ellie and I were getting dinner ready Ryne and Kaleb started fighting again no big surprise there! I sent them to their rooms where they both slammed there doors as hard as they possibly could then they were both lying on their bellies with their mouths under the space of their doors screaming at each other REALLY REALLY, they thought that was going to help!? Ellie looked at me shook her head and said "dey CWAZY!" I agreed and we ignored them, eventually they stopped since there voices were just about gone. I went to the bathroom and checked on the older kids just to make sure they were still awake, when I came out I found Ellie using my baster and the wings sauce to mop my floors stick a knife in me I'm DONE!!!! Seriously what a stinkin day!

This is how the day really went:
Woke up at 6:30 instead of 6, got the kids up and going around 6:45, they took FOREVER to get dressed, by the time they were dressed and hair was done it was 7:10, they had 5 mins to eat before we had to leave so pop tarts for breakfast it was.
7:20-8a.m ish got everyone in the car and off we went to drop the kids off, dropped them off at 7:30, then ran to Walmart for a couple of essential things then home
8:30- 9a.m. Showered got ready to go
9-9:30a.m. chased Ellie around the house and got her dressed.....again. Headed out the door to get the hair cut when suddenly I heard grunting, and a "uh, oh I poop" from Ellie, she didn't just poop she had explosive diarrhea!
9:30-10a.m. gave Ellie another bath and got her dressed.....again this time I had her wear a pull up "just in case"
10a.m. Finally got out the door and on our way
10:30a.m.- 12p.m. got Ellie's hair cut, she did great I meant to take pictures but I forgot. After her hair cut we stayed awhile and let Ellie play(it was at a gal's house, and there were oh so many toys), while I talked to this gal that has a son that sounds just like Kaleb, it was great getting to know her.
12 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. drove home and Ellie fell asleep in the car instead of risking waking her up to carry her into the house, we stayed in the car with windows open while she napped.
1:30p.m. finally woke up Ellie went into the house long enough for potty breaks and a quick bite to eat then headed to get the kids
2:15- 3p.m. picked the kids up from school, came home remembered I needed to go to the $1 store turned around went back out, hit the $1 store waited for ever for them to change out their helium only to find out the girl who thought it was empty didn't know the valve was turned off! Got the balloons went home
3:30-4p.m. got home decided to check mail, turned off car, checked mail got back into car tried to turn it on and NOTHING, not a sound, nothing worked, battery died CRAP! Made the grumpy kids get out of the car and walk home ( we were lucky we even got to our neighborhood), let the manager know that my car was the one in front of the mail box dead.
4-4:30p.m. yelled asked the kids nicely to get started on their homework, while I went out and found someone to jump my car for me. Luckily my neighbors husband had just gotten home from work. Went to jump the car only to realize the cables are in the trunk and the only way to open the trunk is with electricity CRAP, I had to climb my big butt back there move all the crap tables that were in the way and get the cables, finally got the car jumped drove it home
4:30p.m. talked to the hubs he was coming home to help, I may have gotten mad at him on the phone cause I was a little overwhelmed, I still hadn't made the cake, cleaned the house completely, wrapped presents, helped kids with homework or decorated for Ellie's birthday and I didn't know how I was gonna manage all that and get a new battery for the car to meet the guys for dinner. Made cupcakes, helped kids with the homework they never started and started cleaning up the house while we waited for the hubs to get home.
5-5:30p.m. the hubs got home the neighbor helped him get the battery out, he took it to checkers they were super busy said it would be an 1/2 hr before they could even test it, so he left it there and went to the airport to get Uncle Ethan. Got a call from checkers the battery was deader than dead. Called Dane told him to just pick up pizza on the way home, along with frosting for the cupcakes cause I didn't want to make any.
5:30-7p.m. Mean while the kids and I got the house clean, not polished till I could see my face in the floor clean, but clean enough, got the presents wrapped
7-8p.m. we waited for the guys to get home, I had to hold off the extremely hungry kiddos from eating the cupcakes, and opening Ellie's presents
8-10p.m.the guys got home we cooked the pizza while they went out to put the battery in the car, we ate cake and opened presents, got the oh so tired, I don't want to go to bed kids in bed
10p.m.- 12a.m. watched a movie, then went to bed and passed out from exhaustion knowing that tomorrow the kids were going to be a pain in my bum cause they didn't get enough sleep and had tutoring early in the morning!

It was quite the day and I didn't mention, there are no pictures cause I couldn't find the camera, when I did finally find the camera the memory card was full and I couldn't find the spare. Dana did take some pictures and video with his cell phone when I figure out how I will post them on here.

The kids were oblivious to the day I was having, Ellie had a blast and enjoyed every minute of the day, especially when she got cake and presents. Hopefully next year will go a little smoother! I can't believe my baby is 3, she is getting to be such a big girl, she seems to have finally gotten the idea of going potty in the toilet, and let's me know very vocally (especially when it's explosive diarrhea) which is awesome I was getting to the point were I thought she would never get it. She is talking up a storm, she copies EVERYTHING anyone says, she's quite funny when she gets mad she stomps her foot and glares at you, nine times out of ten she hurts herself when she does it! She loves to help do the dishes and laundry, she's a great help around the house (most the time), she loves playing with her brother and sister.

I will blog about the rest of the week, it did get better which was awesome!
